I spent my formative years moving between Arizona, Alaska, Pennsylvania and Minnesota, where I developed a profound connection to the land and its wild places. Enamored by the light in the west, I eventually settled in Colorado for many years until moving to Idaho in 2005.

My creative process often begins with my own photographs, orchestrating compositions to emphasize the space and light that is the west.

In the broader conversation about art’s role in society, my works are meant to be a reminder of the natural world’s grandeur and the human experience within it. As I continue to evolve my artistry, my goals remain intertwined with my values: to bring awareness of the imperiled splendor of the wild places, and wildlife, in the American west.
